Organisation established in 1898 for the publication of specifications-norms and the control and certification of materials, procedures etc.

Fasteners that follow the ASTM production standards are used in the industry where the following are needed:

• High mechanical resistance

• High pressure, corrosion and temperature fluctuation resistance (i.e. concerning temperature there is -196oC/+538oC for ASTM A193 B8 class)

Usually the industries that require ASTM standards are those related to petroleum processing (gas & liquid), energy production, construction/infrastructure projects and more. According to ASTM almost all fasteners can be manufactured such as:
